What is browser or search history?<\/h3>\nYour browser history is a list of all the website pages you visit while searching the internet. As you go from one website to another, your virtual footprints will be saved on your computer\/mobile device with information including the date and timestamp of each page load. Each internet browsers has a different way of giving you access to this data so that you can view your internet history or delete it.\n

Reasons why you would want to keep your browser or search history<\/h3>\nSo that you can quickly visit sites that you have previously visited where you have not written down the domain name. Did you know that your browser history assists the browser when it attempts to auto-populate what you are typing in when you are trying to search for a specific website?\n

Reasons why you would want to delete your browser or search history<\/h3>\nIf other users have access to that computer or mobile device, your privacy may be invaded and if you are experiencing domestic abuse, your abuser may be able to discover your online activities. Please take a few minutes to read and follow the instructions below to minimize the chances of someone finding out that you have visited this website.\r\n\r\nTo ensure that your online activities are not discovered by your abuser, it may be safer to use a public library, work or friend or family member\u2019s computer or mobile device.\n

  3. Select Internet Options<\/strong> from the dropdown menu<\/li>\r\n \t
  4. On the General<\/strong> tab, in the Browsing history<\/strong> section, click the Delete<\/strong> button.<\/li>\r\n \t
  5. Check the boxes of the data you would like to clear.<\/li>\r\n \t
  6. Click Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\n

    Microsoft Edge<\/h3>\n

    1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.<\/li>\r\n \t
    2. Click the Settings<\/strong> and more icon \"image in the upper-right corner of the browser window.<\/li>\r\n \t
    3. In the drop-down menu<\/strong>, near the bottom, select Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n \t
    4. Under the Settings section on the left, click Privacy, Search, and Services.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
    5. Near the top of the Privacy, search, and services window, under the Clear browsing data section, click the Choose what to clear<\/strong> button.<\/li>\r\n \t
    6. In the prompt that appears, make sure the box next to Browser history is checked<\/strong>, then click the Clear now button.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\n

      3. Click the History<\/strong> button<\/li>\r\n \t
      4. Click the Clear Recent History<\/strong> option<\/li>\r\n \t
      5. Select an option for Time Range to clear<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
      6. Click the arrow for Details<\/strong> and select the options to have cleared<\/li>\r\n \t
      7. Click the Clear Now<\/strong> button<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\n

        Google Chrome<\/h3>\n

        1. Open the Chrome Browser<\/li>\r\n \t
        2. Click the Menu<\/strong> icon located near the top-right side of the browser window<\/li>\r\n \t
        3. Move your mouse over More tools<\/strong> and select Clear browsing data<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
        4. Select how far back in your history you want to delete. You can choose from the past hour, the past day, the past week, the last four weeks, and the beginning of time<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
        5. Select the types of history you would like to delete by checking or unchecking boxes<\/strong> on this list<\/li>\r\n \t
        6. Click the Clear browsing data<\/strong> button to delete the selected history for the chosen period.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\n

          Google Chrome on Android Phone or Tablet<\/h3>\n

          1. Open the Google Chrome browser on your Android phone or tablet.<\/li>\r\n \t

          3. In the drop-down menu, tap History<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n \t
