As a national organization for victims of crime, we will:
Pan-Canadian Collaboration
and Specialization
– Leverage our Pan-Canadian focus to build strong relationships and networks
– Advance our strategic advocacy work to improve systems for victims
Support, Advocacy, and Empowerment
– Provide up-to-date and accurate national information for victims.
– Support family members and loved ones affected by Homicide and Missing Persons.
– Specialize our work with victims with an emphasis on post judicial services
– Utilize the Victim Advisory Committee as a formal platform for victims to be involved in policy changes, improvement of support systems and advocacy.
Organizational Excellence
and Sustainability
– Strengthen organizational excellence (Board, staff and VAC sustainability and capacity)
– Develop a fundraising strategy and diversify funding to deliver our priorities
